Choose a short thread for noticing, arranging, drafting, revising, or thinking about a shared space. Work with ordinary materials already at hand—or use a no-material variation. There is no required order, score, or finish line.

STATION 02

Ten threads. No ranking.

The Loom opens into ten different paths. Each path contains an opening, eight short exercises, and a closing card. Start anywhere, leave whenever you choose, and return to a different thread next time.

Across the fieldbook there are 80 exercises, 10 openings, and 10 closures. None represents a level, diagnosis, personality type, or measure of ability.

STATION 03

Set a small frame.

Choose 5, 10, or 15 minutes. These are gentle frames, not countdowns or performance targets. Use ordinary paper, a pencil, paper tape, or clips when useful. Every activity also has a no-material way in.

The fieldbook does not ask for blades, loose needles, heat, flame, chemicals, powered tools, purchases, travel, or contact with strangers.

Loose paper pieces become one intentionally rough first construction.

STATION 04

Make one pass, then look again.

A first pass can be small, incomplete, or temporary. The activity asks what changed in the object, arrangement, or idea—not what the result says about the person making it.

There are no points, streaks, ranks, badges, behavior rewards, failure states, or penalties for stopping.

STATION 05

Keep only what you choose.

A bookmark, an abstract patch, or a short note can help hold onto one useful detail. Each is optional. The fieldbook remains usable without saving anything.

Saved items stay in the app’s private local storage. A note can be deleted individually, a bookmark removed, the Patchbook cleared, or all app data reset.

STATION 07

Designed to stay self-contained.

The Android field guide works without an account or network connection. It has no social feed, public profile, messaging, follower system, or contact feature. Its core content and illustrations are packaged with the app.

The signed release declares no Internet permission and contains no advertising, analytics, telemetry, crash-uploading, remote-content, or social SDK.

A private folio, removable strip, and reset tile suggest reversible local control.

STATION 08

Your fieldbook stays under your control.

Bookmarks, abstract patches, short notes, duration choices, and display preferences stay with this installation. The app does not provide cloud sync, public sharing, or automatic export.

You can remove one item, clear the Patchbook, reset all local fieldbook data, clear app storage through Android, or uninstall the app.

Different abstract forms join one cloth while each remains distinct.

STATION 09

Different patterns can belong to the same cloth.

The same ordinary prompt can lead to different observations, arrangements, and revisions. The fieldbook makes room for those differences without sorting people into types or treating one result as the correct one.

This is an editorial thesis of the app. It is not an organization mission, impact result, service philosophy, or testimonial.

STATION 10

Carry one useful thread forward—or close.

Keep one detail, try another material later, or finish with nothing saved. There is no streak to protect and no penalty for leaving.
